Business informatics · Human-computer interaction
RaphaelZähringer.
I like working where IT, business teams and users meet, and I help turn requirements into software that works in everyday use.

Projects
A small selection of my work so far, from research, university, freelance and personal projects.

Making long-distance passenger information tangible for the simulator community

A grown association website becomes clear, accessible and self-managed

A trustworthy brand for institutional investors

How a decision support system changes diagnosis in anaesthesia teams

Fewer interruptions for anaesthesia nurses

One cockpit instead of six displays: the driver workplace rethought

Public transport that tells you in advance

All accounts, payments and receipts in one app
What I bring
I combine business thinking, technical understanding and user-centred work. I learned this in a dual study programme, in support, in product management and in research.
years of practice since 2017
projects in the portfolio
Translate requirements
I talk to business, engineering and users and write down what everyone understands the same way. Second-level support and product management at Testo taught me where misunderstandings start.
Test early
Prototypes, observation and studies instead of assumptions. From click prototypes to high-fidelity simulations with 14 anaesthesia teams.
Guide adoption
New software only helps once it is used. I have built document templates and explainer video formats that lower adoption barriers.
About me
With a master’s in human-computer interaction and a dual bachelor’s in business informatics, I combine technological innovation, user-centred design and an understanding of business.
I believe good technology should be clear, accessible and easy to use. My experience ranges from second-level support and product management to rolling out new software in organisations.
